Job Overview
Viv Higher Education is seeking an experienced Ad Copywriter to support our creative, media, and account teams by writing high-performing copy for paid campaigns, landing pages, email marketing, and brand storytelling.
This role is focused on writing persuasive, on-brand, and audience-specific copy that converts in short-form paid ads, landing pages, and beyond. The ideal candidate understands how to translate complex program features into clear, engaging benefits and can adapt messaging for different platforms and audiences.
This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role for a writer who thrives at the intersection of creativity and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Write impactful, audience-tailored copy for paid ads across Google, Meta, LinkedIn, Reddit, and other digital platforms, with attention to strategic keyword integration.
- Craft engaging, benefits-driven copy for landing pages, program descriptions, one-pagers, and video scripts that clearly communicate value and drive conversion.
- Tailor tone, voice, and structure for various channels, audiences, and stages of the funnel from high-level brand awareness ads to bottom-of-funnel conversion copy.
- Partner closely with Viv team members to align copy with campaign strategy, creative direction, and audience insights.
- Contribute to A/B testing plans by producing copy variations, analyzing performance data, and iterating for improved results.
- Ensure all copy aligns with the client’s voice, messaging architecture, and positioning, while maintaining Viv’s high standards for clarity and impact.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience writing ad copy and marketing content for digital campaigns and landing pages.
- Proven track record of writing copy that drives clicks, conversions, and engagement.
- Experience writing across multiple platforms (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, etc.) and formats (paid ads, landing pages, email, video scripts).
- Strong understanding of copywriting best practices for digital performance marketing.
- Experience in higher education campaigns is a plus, but not required.
Contract Details:
- Freelance, contract-based role with variable engagement based on project needs.
- Opportunities for recurring work based on performance.
- Remote work only; virtual meetings with Viv’s internal team are required.
Compensation:
$45-50 per hour, depending on experience and project scope.
