Job Overview
Viv Higher Education is looking for a freelance Technical Media Platform Expert to serve as a strategic partner to our media and account teams.

This individual will bring deep, hands-on expertise across all major paid media channels (Google, Facebook/Instagram, LinkedIn, and others) and play a critical role in:

  • Assessing overall account health
  • Developing and recommending media campaign structures and associated  measurement and attribution frameworks
  • Flagging both high-level and granular optimizations
  • Advising on efficient implementation and measurement approaches

The ideal candidate will also have experience in leveraging dashboards and platform reports to make recommendations and drive optimization decisions. They will bring clear and business-aligned insights to media and account leadership to make campaign improvements against a KPI framework


Responsibilities:

  • Audit existing Viv campaigns, fix campaign structural issues, and flag overall recommendations for the future 
  • Review drafts of client-facing media plans and provide Viv’s media team and account team members with recommendations for campaign structures rooted in best practices. When necessary, build the client-facing media plan for clients. 
  • Develop  the internal forecasting and daily budget pacing sections of the plan, creating documented training and process documentation to be leveraged by other team members who help perform this task over time. Viv team members along the way. 
  • Conduct regular reviews of account health across multiple paid media platforms as directed by Viv leadership.
  • Discuss optimization opportunities ranging from strategic shifts to tactical refinements based on optimization insights documentation from Viv’s media team members, guiding them on the most efficient and effective implementation of optimizations. 
  • Act as internal expert on creative best practices and guidelines for each media platform including recommending ad formats/types and providing direction on creative performance and assessment. 
  • Advise on long-term campaign structure improvements to support scaling and attribution clarity.
  • Partner with account and strategy teams to evolve measurement and reporting frameworks. Support the development of benchmarks, forecasts, and industry standards for each media platform. 
  • Create and refine dashboards and visual data reports to communicate performance trends and insights with Viv’s existing team members.
  • Stay current on platform changes, advanced tools, and best practices in campaign optimization and attribution.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience managing and optimizing paid media campaigns across multiple platforms.
  • Demonstrated expertise in account health audits, optimizations, and campaign restructuring.
  • Proven ability to guide implementation teams in best practices for execution.
  • Experience designing and maintaining dashboards (Google Data Studio/Looker Studio, Tableau, or similar).
  • Familiarity with attribution modeling and campaign measurement best practices.
  • Higher education campaign experience is a plus, but not required.


Contract Details
:

  • This is a freelance, contract-based role.
  • Engagements may vary based on team needs, with opportunities for recurring work.
  • Remote work only; virtual meetings with Viv’s internal team are required


Compensation:
$75-125 per hour, depending on experience and project scope.
